What is Salt Therapy?

A visit to the seaside feels good! Aside from the obvious mood enhancing benefits it is especially beneficial to the airways. Similar to a day by the sea, but with 10 to 15 times the salt concentration, Halotherapy, also known as Salt Therapy, is particularly useful for people with respiratory disorders and skin conditions.

Improvement in respiratory function was first noticed in  natural salt caves in Europe and has been utilized there for hundreds of years. Modern day delivery systems are now making it quick and convenient to receive the benefits of this natural mineral.

Pharmaceutical grade salt is ground, dispersed into the air and inhaled. Unlike traditional salt delivery systems, the fine particles and negatively charged ions found in salt are spread across the entire respiratory system from the nose, sinuses, throat to the extreme lung areas and can have an expectorant effect. Those with acute or chronic allergy symptoms are helped greatly by this treatment because it opens the airways and helps loosen mucous.

Not only is a salt treatment great for respiratory and lung issues, it’s extremely beneficial for improving skin conditions.

Why Book With Us?

We strive to offer top-notch services and make it a priority to invest in the best spa equipment. Our Halogenerator hails from a company in Germany that has engineered a patented process to grind the salt into super smooth particles. This process helps assure your comfort and the effectiveness of the treatment.

Unlike many Halotherapy centers who have large treatment rooms for numerous clients, we offer a private salt booth.

Comfortable clothing is recommended or you may change into clothing that exposes areas of skin you would like the salt to reach (shorts, sleeveless shirts, etc).

Enjoy your session with privacy and feel comfortable knowing the air has been refreshed by our ventilation and air purification systems. Some spas will not allow Smokers to use their facilities because of the possibility of exhaling toxins. While we certainly understand this, it is not an issue with our cabin since the client is always solo unless you bring a friend.
